A lovely pair of gold and coral earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These wonderful clip earrings are made of 14kt yellow gold and have a simple yet attractive design. Each earring features a gold concave disc with a decorative ridged border around the outer rim. Set within the center of each circle is a beautiful piece of polished natural coral. The coral stones have a beautiful peach color with subtle marbled swirls which look fantastic against the vibrant yellow gold setting. The back of each earring has been converted to wear as clip-ons, allowing them to be worn on pierced or unpierced ears. They make a beautiful statement when worn and would be a stunning addition to any collection!?
Measurements: Each earring has a 1" diameter and has a depth of 1/2" at its thickest point. The coral stones measure approximately 1/2" in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and no visible damage to the coral cabochons, both of which are intact. The earring clips are secure and in good working condition.
