An attractive and unusual pair of cufflinks from the Late Victorian?(ca1900) era! These double-sided cufflinks have an elongated oval?shape and are made of vibrant 14kt yellow gold. Resting in the center of one?oval link is a deep blue cabochon sapphire, while the other link holds a sparkling diamond. The deep?blue color of the sapphires looks marvelous paired with the white diamonds and?bright yellow gold setting! A?gold bar connects the cufflinks together, and each oval is stamped "14K" on the back. A classic pair of cufflinks, they are very versatile and would look fabulous worn by a man or woman!
Measurements: The front of each cufflink measures 7/8" tall and 1/2" wide. Each oval is slightly convex and has a depth of a little less than 1/16". The space in between each cufflink measures 5/8" long?when extended.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the cabochon sapphires or diamonds, all of which are intact.
