GIA H VS2 4.00ctw Emerald Cut Diamond and Green Emeralds Platinum Art Nouveau Ring.
This precious and highly collectible, late Edwardian- to- early Art Deco jewel, in glorious green and white, represent some of the finest examples of diamond, platinum jewelry in existence , comes to us from the first decade of the twentieth century, Circa 1910.

The center of attention is stunning 1.51ct Emerald Cut Diamond, accompanied by GIA certificate and graded as H color VS2 clarity. Very White and Clear. GREAT CUT and AMAZING BRILLIANCE! The measurements are 6.96x5.69x4.23mm. Very Good Polish, Excellent Symmetry. No Fluorescence.

The beautiful bezel set emerald is accompanied north and south by two natural Green Emeralds, step cut 1/2 of octagon shape, and weighing about 1.50 carats in total ( 5*3.34*3.78mm each ), also set in platinum bezels. Even though we haven't tested them for origin, the famous bluish glow suggest Colombian origin. The emeralds are very bright green and clear and certainly add a dramatic splash of color.
This stunning Ring additionally encrusted in a symmetrical design with Old cut Diamonds, estimated total weight is 0.88 carats. G-H-I color, VS-SI clarity Overall.
Beautiful Band with state of the art open work features some Flur-de-Lys motif.
The North-South length is 23.74mm and East-West width is 18.54mm- Gorgeous low profile ring. Sits on the finger - 4.55mm, 1.60mm on the bottom.
The Platinum ( tested) weight is 5.73 grams.
Finger size 6, can be re-sized.
Traces of an engraving inside. This ring is gracefully designed and will cover your finger knuckle to knuckle and beyond!
Condition:
This ring is in very good antique condition with strong original details. The setting has wonderful open work, as beautiful mille-grained edges, and a soft carved design down the shank that shows little the wear of a well loved ring.
The platinum has maintained the excellent condition of this gorgeous lacy engagement ring through over hundred years of daily wear. With respectful everyday use the heirloom quality ring will last for generations to come.
The diamonds are in great condition, slight abrasion on one stone and light wear to emeralds ( barely noticeable). This ring is perhaps the nicest original example of Art Nouveau design we have had seeing in a long time. Consistent with age.
